The great Daasas of Karnataka, namely Shri Purandara Dasa, Shri Kanaka Daasa, Shri Jagannaatha Dasa, to name a few, have enriched the music and literature of Karnataka, leaving behind a historical tradition being followed by generations after generations, here in Karnataka and beyond.
Here we present history, anecdotes, related-images, lyrics-collections, swara-collections, web-links of the tunes believed to be originally adapted by the composers themselves. Swaras to current popular versions of the songs also could be found. We hope the blog benefits every visitor.

ದಾಸಾನುಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ವರಿಗೂ ಸ್ವಾಗತ
ದಾಸಾನುಗ್ರಹವು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ದಾಸಶೇಷ್ಠರ ಅನುಭವ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವ ಒಂದು ಕಿರು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ದಾಸರುಗಳ ರಚನೆಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಕ್ತಿ-ಪ್ರಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಓರ್ವ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕೇಳುಗನ ಅಥವಾ ಓದುಗನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ತುಂಬುವಂತಾಗಿವೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ದಾಸಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹನೀಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಂದರ ದಾಸರು, ಶ್ರೀ ಕನಕ ದಾಸರು, ಶ್ರೀ ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ ದಾಸರು
ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹಲವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದು, ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಳು ಇದನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ, ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹಲವು ಬರಲಿವೆ.
